The Hollow Crown

In the kingdom of Ashenmoor, the throne has been empty for thirteen years. The old king died without naming an heir, and the five noble houses have been locked in a cold war ever since. But when a dead king's crown is found on the head of a nameless girl in the slums of the capital, the cold war turns hot. Sera has no memory of how she got the crown, no noble blood, and no desire to rule. But the crown has chosen her, and in Ashenmoor, refusing a crown is punishable by death.
